Mark Ellis
Mark is an excellent saxophonist and specialises in Jazz, funk and pop. Mark studied his craft in the USA for 5 years as a scholarshoip recipient at the prestigious Berklee College of Music before returning to the UK to tour with iconic artists of The Temptations, The Stylistics, Percy Sledge, Ben E. King, Candi Staton, Smokey Robinson and Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) to name but a few! Over the years Mark has performed at The Jazz Café, The Royal Albert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Ronnie Scott’s, Montreux Jazz Festival, and many more concert venues around the world.
Mark performs classic Jazz standards from The Great American Songbook and chilled-out Pop with professionally recorded backing tracks to create a relaxed atmosphere. This works at any event but is absolutely perfect for wedding receptions. Mark is also currently touring with DJ Judge Jules providing the Sax treatment to his sets
